OBAN LIVE – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

*All tickets are subject to a booking fee from our Ticket Agent Eventbrite.

OBAN LIVE HAS A NO REFUND POLICY

No tickets will be refunded unless the event is completely cancelled in which case only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. Tickets are for the festival and not for one specific artist. The promoter will use their best endeavours to present the line-up as advertised, but the line-up of artists cannot be guaranteed. Should one or more artists cancel, the festival will go ahead as normal. Refunds will not be given in these circumstances. Tickets are issued subject to a license being granted by the local authority.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED

Oban Live reserves the right to refuse admission to or to eject ticket-holders from the Event without a refund.

AGGRESSIVE OR ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

Aggressive or anti-social behaviour will be met with a zero-tolerance policy and immediate ejection.

LOST, STOLEN OR INCOMPLETE TICKETS

Admission will not be allowed to persons presenting a ticket that has already been scanned or to persons whose tickets have been lost or stolen; keep tickets safe – treat them like cash.

LOST OR ALTERED WRISTBANDS

Attendance without the relevant wristband issued by the event is not allowed and will result in ejection; wristbands that have been tampered with or removed will be declared invalid and lost wristbands will not be replaced.

ENTRY PROCEDURES

As a condition of entry all bags will be searched by our security team.  Please do not arrive with bags larger than 40cm x 30cm x 20cm as you will not be permitted to enter with the bag.

NO ALCOHOL CAN BE TAKEN INTO THE EVENT ARENA

Please leave any alcohol you have purchased at home. If you attempt to bring alcohol into the event arena it will be confiscated and you risk being ejected from the event for breaching our licensing conditions.

NO GLASS OR HIP FLASKS CAN BE BROUGHT INTO EVENT ARENA

FOOD & DRINK

Whilst we do allow food into the arena, we cannot allow any liquids, with the exception of babies bottles of milk.  This will help us conform to our licensing conditions where we must ensure people don’t bring alcohol into the licensed arena. Tap Water will be available from a tap in the main arena, you are welcome to bring your empty refillable bottle (no glass) into the arena to refill.

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, ALCOHOL & ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

This event has a zero tolerance towards illegal substances, underage drinking and anti-social behavior. Anyone found with illegal substances, behaving in an anti-social manner or under the influence of alcohol under the age of 18 will be ejected from the festival site and reported to the police. This event encourages sensible drinking.

CHAIRS & BLANKETS

Under advice from the authorities and, subsequently, as a condition of our license in a change from 2016, there will be an allocated area for people bringing folding chairs to the event.  Folding chairs will not be permitted outside of this area.  Whilst the area will be first come first served, priority will be given to people who have a disability or health issue that means they cannot stand for long periods.  If you have a disability or health issue please click here (takes to access section) for more information for access customers.

Wheelchair users are welcome in all public areas of the site, however, if you are a wheelchair user, and are more comfortable away from the hustle and bustle, you are also welcome in this area.

The main arena is covered in a high-quality plastic covering which is great for sitting / sunbathing on, so if you don’t need a folding chair we recommend you leave it at home and get up dancing!

The main reason for this change from 2016 is concern around clear routes for evacuation and folding chairs around the whole arena potentially being a hazard should we have to evacuate.

ANIMALS

Animals are not allowed into the event arena, with the exception of guide dogs.

FIREWORKS/FIRE LANTERNS

Strictly no Fireworks or fire lanterns, smoke grenades or similar are allowed anywhere on the Event Site. Those caught doing so will be removed from the site.

LITTER

Oban is a stunning location and we would like your help in keeping it that way.  Please use the bins provided.
